Dog-Friendly Brewery in Indio: One of the Best Spots for Beer and Bubbles

One of my favorite things about exploring the Coachella Valley is discovering places that feel genuinely local the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly brewery in Indio that goes beyond just beer, Indio Brewing is one of those spots. Family-owned, community-focused, and welcoming to both people and pups, it’s the kind of place that works whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or planning your evening around one of their events.

Drinks at This Dog-Friendly Brewery in Indio

Let’s start with the drinks, because that’s really what brings people through the door. Full disclosure: I’m not a big craft beer lover. I try, I sample, but most of the time beer just isn’t my first choice. That said, Indio Brewing still works for me, because their bubbles are right up my alley.

Their bubble offerings rotate regularly and fall into that light, refreshing seltzer-style category. On a recent visit, I tried the strawberry bubble, which came with a strawberry and sugar rim. It was crisp, refreshing, and just sweet enough without being overpowering.

For beer lovers, the menu is thoughtfully laid out and easy to navigate. Beers are broken down into clear categories: Lighter, Faultline (their experimental brews), Hoppy, Malty, Seltzers, Sours, and Other. Whether you prefer something easy-drinking, bold and hoppy, or more adventurous, there’s plenty to explore. Even as someone who doesn’t usually gravitate toward beer, I appreciated how approachable the menu felt.

A Relaxed, Dog-Friendly Brewery in Indio

The space itself is another reason Indio Brewing stands out. Inside, there’s a good-sized bar and plenty of tables, making it comfortable whether you’re there with a group or just one other person. Outside, the large patio is perfect for settling in on cooler evenings. It’s also dog-friendly, which makes it an easy stop if you’re out and about with your pup or planning a casual afternoon meet-up.

Food Options Near Indio Brewing

While Indio Brewing doesn’t serve food, they make it easy to eat well. You’re welcome to bring your own, which keeps things casual and flexible. There’s also UniQue Bites Eatery in the same shopping center, and they’ll deliver directly to the brewery. On top of that, Indio Brewing regularly hosts rotating food vendors throughout the week, including BBQ and other local favorites, so there’s usually something tasty happening.

Community Events at This Dog-Friendly Brewery in Indio

What really makes Indio Brewing special is how much they lean into community. They regularly host events that highlight local entrepreneurs, artists, and small businesses. I’ve attended two events there recently, a watercolor holiday card workshop and a candle-making workshop. Both were relaxed, creative, and genuinely fun. They’re the kind of events where you can show up solo and still feel comfortable.

Beyond workshops, their calendar stays full with a mix of social and creative events. Pet adoptions, cornhole tournaments, bingo and trivia nights, cookie decorating, flower arranging, strawberry dipping, and vendor markets are all part of the lineup. It never feels repetitive, and there’s always something new to check out.

Why Indio Brewing Stands Out

Behind the scenes, Indio Brewing is owned by two families who clearly care about what they’re building. Their combined backgrounds bring a balance of creativity, consistency, and attention to quality. Just as importantly, there’s a strong commitment to supporting local businesses and keeping things rooted in the Indio community.

If you’re searching for a dog-friendly brewery in Indio that offers creative drinks, rotating food options, and a strong sense of community, Indio Brewing is well worth a visit. Whether you’re there for the bubbles, the beer, or one of their many events, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back.
