Hi, I’m Tracey, the travel content creator, writer and photographer behind Out of the House with TLC.
I created Out of the House with TLC to share approachable travel experiences, from Southern California day trips and weekend getaways to solo adventures a little farther from home.
My content is personal, practical and experience-driven. I actually visit the places I write about, take my own photos and share the details I would want to know before planning a trip myself.

Based in California’s Coachella Valley, I’m especially well positioned to cover Palm Springs, the greater Coachella Valley, Southern California, Arizona and other drivable Southwest destinations. I also travel farther from home whenever adventure calls.
Solo travel is a big part of what I do, and dog-friendly travel has long been part of Out of the House with TLC as well. My goal is always the same: create relatable content that makes people think, “I could do that.”
