Jazzville Showcases a Variety of Musical Genres
From jazz to bebop to neo-soul, Jazzville offers a variety of musical acts on Thursday nights. Go back to the 1930’s with energetic swing band Phat Cat Swinger, dance the salsa to the sounds of Bob DeSena’s Latin jazz, or enjoy a little burlesque with the Stardust Revue. One of my recent favorites was Nutty, an L.A. band that mixes classic rock with classic jazz for a unique take on popular songs. You’ve never heard Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love quite like this!

Jazzville’s Cushy Lounge
Jazzville’s swanky lounge channels the vibes of the legendary Palm Springs Chi Chi Room. Boasting a state-of-the-art sound system, cool lighting, and great acoustics, the music is crystal clear. Seating choices include intimate tables for two, booths, high tops, and bar seating. Long tables set up in the front of the room can easily accommodate larger parties or offer community seating, because there’s nothing like toe-tapping music to bring people together. All seats offer unobstructed views of the stage.

Jazzville is an Excellent Deal
Not only are the shows fantastic, the ticket prices are affordable with pricing normally between $10-$65 per person. Can you imagine seeing a top-notch performance for just $10? Well, you can. Want an even better deal? Buy tickets for an entire season and not only secure your seat, but receive a discount as well. On top of all this, there is no drink minimum, but you will find a full bar with a specialty drink or two on the menu. Non-alcoholic beverages are also served.

Below are a few of the upcoming shows that I am excited about!
- I already have my ticket for the Stardust Revue, a combination burlesque, music, and comedy show, on September 1st.
- The Amanda Castro Band consists of a 7-piece band, 3 dancers, feathers, and music from the past and present. They will come to Jazzville on September 22nd.
- Don’t want to miss the sexy and sultry Amber Weekes Quartet on October 6th.
- Looking forward to the Jackie Gibson Quintet on November 17th.
- Get into the holiday spirit with the Greg Adams & East Bay Soul Holiday Show on December 1st.
What to know to not stress before you go:
- Jazzville is located in the Cascade Lounge inside the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs. Their address is 401 E. Amado Road, Palm Springs.
- Shows often sellout, so be sure to buy your tickets online.
- They cannot except cash at the door, but will take credit cards if seats are still available.
- You must be 21 years or older to attend.
- No refunds are available.
- Doors open at 6:00pm, and the show starts promptly at 7:00pm.
- Most shows are around an hour and a half long.
- Bring a camera, as the bands are usually available for pictures after the show.
- Parking is free at the casino.
